SUMMER FEAST DAYS
Summer is also a beautiful time of the year, although it can get quite hot. Fresh fruit and veggies are usually plentiful along with Yahweh's sunshine during the longer days. There is one special time in the summer (other than Yahweh's Sabbath, which comes every week). This day is called "Feast of Weeks" or some call it "Pentecost" (because it means "fifty"). Here are a few verses talking about this special day:
Leviticus 23:15-16 (NIV): From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count off seven full weeks. Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then present an offering of new grain to Yahweh.
